Pro Fund Accounting Download Center
After Pro Fund Accounting is installed, please go to the Start menu and click on All Programs>Pro Fund Accounting>Utilities.
Then click on Client Prep to launch the client preparation utility.
If you are on Windows 7 or later, you may need to click on Yes when the UAC prompt appears to allow Client Prep to run correctly.
The first thing you will need to enter is the computer nameinstance name for the SQL Server that you setup in the server setup article.
If the client is not the same computer as the server, then we recommend using the IP Address of the server instead of the computer name.
Now if you changed the SQL Server port during the configuration of SQL Server, you will need to click on the Advanced Settings button to open the Advanced Settings dialog.
Then you can enter the correct port and the user name and password of the “sa” user.
Click on Ok.
Now click on the Test SQL Server button.
If the SQL Server Passed the Test message appears, then you can click on the Prepare Client System to run the preparation process that the workstation needs to connect to the Pro Fund Accounting database.
After the workstation has been prepped, the following message will appear:
Now your workstation is ready to use Pro Fund Accounting on it. You should now be able to run Pro Fund Accounting and configure any necessary user preferences.
